What is recorded here

Located on a slight N-facing slope. First identified in centre-line testing (02E0441) in field 13 by Tara O'Nell and Deirdre Murphy of Archaeological Consultancy Services in preparation for the N25 Waterford City bypass (O'Neill 2004b), and excavated (03E0590) by Ian Russell as Gracedieu West 5. A small pit (dims. 0.7m x 0.4m; D 0.2m) and a sherd of brown glazed earthenware and a clay pipe stem were recovreed. (Russell 2006c) O'Neill, T.
