What is recorded here
Marked as a rectangular feature (dims. c. 25m N-S; c. 25m E-W) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as an arc of an enclosure SE-NW (C c. 30m) on the OS 25-inch map, transgressing the townland boundary in both instances. Situated on a small hill, just S of the rock outcrop of Carrickrower. It is not visible at ground level in an area of scrub. Enclosure (WA026-007----) is c. 20m to the S and enclosure (WA026-006----) is c. 60m to the WSW.
