On a slight rise in a low-lying landscape. Circular area (diam. c. 80m) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.7m) and flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 4.5m; Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.8m) N-E-SW. A NNE-SSW field bank overlies the interior W of the centre and the monument has been reclaimed W of this where the perimeter is visible as a low grass-covered bank (at N: Wth 8m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.4m) or fosse (at SW: Wth 8m; D 0.1-0.2m). The E part of the monument has been planted with coniferous trees. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
