What is recorded here

In reclaimed pasture 65m S of the townland boundary with Thomastown and 100m W of the townland boundary with Tobernae Middle. Partially indicated on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a field boundary curving from S-W-N. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an oval-shaped area (dims. c. 40m NE-SW; 30m NW-SE) enclosed by a bank from NW-N-E reduced to a scarp which forms a field boundary from S-W-NW. Intersected at NW by field boundary running NW-SE and at S by field boundary running NW-SE. Levelled monument is visible as a circular-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
