Not marked on any edition of OS 6-inch map, located from aerial photographs (GSI, N 203-4; ACAP 738-9) and situated on mountain top. Large circular enclosure (max.diam. 36m) defined by a bank (Wth 5.5m, H c. 0.6m). Possible entrance (Wth 3.3m) at NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 17 December 2007
