What is recorded here

On the N-facing slope of Skool Hill, in pasture, with good views from W-N-E and restricted elsewhere. The townland boundary with Loughanstown lies 130m to N. Monument is not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a large oval-shaped cropmark on Bruff Survey aerial photographs (Bruff 9003: AP4/3697). Monument is visible as a substantial rectangular-shaped cropmark (72m E-W; 47m N-S) with a rectangular-shaped enclosure (66m N-S; 47m E-W) adjoining to E, on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13. The monument is not visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 01/10/2015.
