What is recorded here

In pasture, on a gently sloping area of a NW-facing slope. Adjoins motte, possible (KE048190----) to SE. Roughly square area (dims. c. 60m NW-SE; c. 56m NE-SW) defined by scarp (Wth 1.75m; H 0.45m) to SW and scarp (Wth 14m; H 1.35m) to NW; Field boundary defines NE-side. Gap (Wth 3.8m) in WNW corner. Interior has gentle downslope to NW and is c. 3m above the poorly drained, flat area surrounding it WSW->N, known as ‘the water field’ (local information).
