What is recorded here
On the E slope of a ridge in pasture. A raised D-shaped area (c. 49m NW–SE; c. 32m NE–SW), with a straight SW side, enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4-4.5m; H 0.2-0.4m) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 3.5-4m; D 0.1-0.2m). The latter has been recut and is used as a field drain from E–SE–SSE. Along the SW side it has been filled in where a roadway skirts the monument. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a low outer bank at NE; it is no longer visible. The original entrance is not recognisable.
