Enclosure in Releagh

In a hollow and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE102-088011-). Described in 2000 as a D-shaped area (dims. 4.7m E-W) with the straight side at E (L 7.2m), defined by the remains of a roughly built, drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 1m) with large stones in its base. A boulder was incorporated into the wall, which was cut into the upslope at W. The entrance (Wth 0.6m) was at E. The interior, in pasture and cluttered with rubble, sloped down to the E. This enclosure adjoined a hut site (KE102-088003-) at SE. On a subsequent inspection in 2007 there were no visible remains of this enclosure, the land having been reclaimed and reseeded.
