Enclosure in Rathosey

In rocky pasture, on a low rise and on the S slopes of the Ox Mountains. A roughly circular area (18m N-S; 17.5m E-W) encompassing the top of a low rocky rise and defined by a ring of intermittent sod-covered stones (H 0.4m), possibly the remains of an internal and external kerb of a wall (Wth c. 2m). The interior is slightly domed with an uneven surface from which stones protrude. Remnants of a field boundary wall skirt the E arc. Part of a complex of cashels (SL025-015001-; SL025-015002-; SL025-015004-; SL025-015007-; SL025-015008-; SL025-015012-), an enclosure (SL025-015011-), a possible enclosure (SL025-015005-), a rath (SL025-015006-) and a hut site (SL025-015010-).
