Aerial photographs (GSI S 281) show traces of circular feature, apparently an enclosure on summit of N spur of Mount Leinster (est max. diam. c. 45m). Not recognisable at ground level.
A local fairy fort (ringfort/rath); wider significance not recorded.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
