What is recorded here
Cropmark of fosse of rectangular enclosure (c. 30m E-W; c. 30m N-S) visible in aerial photographs (CASAP, July 1989). Aerial photograph also shows several dark maculae, possibly indicating pits, noted in interior, mostly concentrated in E side; similar maculae in surrounding field to W and E. Linear earthwork (11972) c. 80m to W; enclosure (13794) c. 80m to SE. Linear cropmarks in fields to N and S are probably levelled field fences.
