What is recorded here

Situated on level ground on the top of a low hill sloping to the NW, in undulating countryside. Depicted as a circular enclosure on an aerial photograph taken in 1973 (GSIAP, S 465/6). The field boundary which extended E-W along the S sector of the site has been removed. Not visible at ground level.
