On a S-facing slope in undulating upland terrain. A standing stone (TS073-033----) is located c. 50m to the S. Identifed on an aerial photograph taken in 1974 (GSI R.504/5). The field has been reclaimed since the 1970s. According to the landowner there is no tradition of a 'fort' in this field. It is not visible at ground level.
