What is recorded here
Identified from an aerial photograph (Bruff Survey: Map 22, Bruff 75: AP 4/3071) and described by Doody (2008, 131) as a 'subcircular platform, c. 50m E-W x 39m N-S, 0.6m from the base of the ditch. Enclosed by ditch (c. 8m wide, 0.5m deep)''; the morphology of this enclosure indicates that it may be Bronze Age in date (ibid.).
