Situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside with a nearby tower house (TN009-016) to the SE. Depicted as a large irregular enclosure (dims. c. 36m N-S; c. 40m E-W) on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level.
