Listed in SMR (1992) as unlocated church possible which is mentioned in Glesson's article on the Churches in the Deanery of Ormond (Gleeson 1951, NMAJ VI, 100) where it is described as a possible Penal Chapel of the 18th century. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
