Situated on top of high ground in an upland area with extensive views. The barely discernible outline of a circular enclosure (approx. diam. 36m NW-SE ) with a large ringfort (TN005-012) located nearby to the E. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
