Enclosure in Lackabane (muskerry West By.)

In pasture, on grounds of Tullig House. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as one of three circular plantations of trees (9160; 8743); indicated and hachured on 1904 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps respectively as circular enclosure. Circular area (20m N-S) enclosed by low, insubstantial earthen bank (H 1m). Bank and interior planted with trees. Position in relation to Tullig House and insubstantial nature of bank may suggest that this is a tree ring.
