In pasture, on W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 15m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace. Possibly fort described by Bowman (1934, 148) in 'Patrick O'Connor's land, levelled, rectangular, 13 yds. by 16 yds.' with Man-made underground passage (13406) 20 yards W of fort. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
