Enclosure in Knockfune (aghnameadle Par.) — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Situated on the SE-facing slope of a hill in pasture. Shown as a circular enclosure on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map but not indicated on the subsequent 1904 ed. The site has been levelled but is discernible as a circular area (diam. 32.2m N-S; 32.4m E-W) defined by a low, broad bank. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
