Located towards the bottom of the S-facing slope of Knockavelish Hill. A circular area (diam. c. 35m) is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (MM (60) 28-30). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
