Enclosure in Knockatillane — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle SW-facing slope. A circular enclosure (max. int. diam. 7.6m; max. ext. diam. 16.6m) defined by an earth and stone bank (max. Wth 4.2m; max. H 0.85m) and referred to locally as a 'fairy fort'. There is a narrow entrance (Wth 1.25m) at WNW. No internal features. A raised spur of land (H 0.1-0.15m) projects north-westwards from the site for 7m. (Sullivan 1994) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
