Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope in a wheat field, just below the crest of a NNE-SSW ridge. Marked on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a D-shaped enclosure (dims. 50m NE-SW; 35m NW-SE). Not visible at ground level.
