Situated on the SE slope of a flat-topped hill which falls steeply to a valley below. Identified as a roughly circular enclosure on an aerial photograph taken in 1974 (GSIAP, R 360/359). Not visible at ground level. The landowner does not recollect any site in this field. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
