What is recorded here

Situated on a broad hilltop. D-shaped, scrub-covered area (int. dims. 32m NW-SE; 29m NE-SW) with the straight side at W (L 27.5m) defined by a collapsed stone wall (Wth 2.5-4m; H 0.2-0.4m). There is no visible entrance or internal features. It is associated with a field system (WA005-021001-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 27th July, 2010.
