What is recorded here
On a very gentle SE-facing slope, under pasture, in undulating terrain. Monument marked as a circular area within a more irregular enclosure on 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map but not marked on 1901-05 ed. It is likely to have been ploughed out between these two editions, however, it is still visible as a circular area (diam. 43.6m NE-SW) defined by a low, broad bank (Wth c. 10m; int. H 0.28m; ext. H 0.36m) from SW-W-N-NE and possible fosse only visible in N quadrant (Wth 3m; D 0.3) and outer bank visible from E-ESE (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.11m; ext. H 0.23m).
