Enclosure in Erneen

In rough, heather-clad, hill pasture, on the SE-facing slopes of Barrerneen. A D-shaped area (30m NW-SE), with a straight SE side (L 60m), defined by a partially collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.7m) . Large heather-covered stones in the lower courses of the wall protrude above the surface of the bog. Rubble from the collapsed upper courses of the wall is scattered along the perimeter. Five hut sites (KE103-004----, KE103-004001-, KE103-004002-, KE103-004003-, KE103-004004-) are within the enclosure. There is another hut site (KE103-004005-) c. 12m to the SW.
