In improved, rolling pasture, on an elevated area of field. Depicted on the 1st (1840) edition OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (dims c. 40m NE-SW; c. 35m NW-SE) and on the 1904 edition only the southern arc from E-WSW is shown with what appears to be a pond at the base of the bank in the SSE. The southern arc is visible on an aerial photograph (GSI R.437/6, 16/04/1974). The remains of the enclosure were possibly levelled during land improvements c. 1984-5 (local information). It is not visible above ground.
