Fairy Hill in County Galway still wears two mismatched banks, a rectangular inner ridge and a rounded outer ring, while bramble and shadow swallow the space between. It sits eighty metres east of a rath, waiting for someone to push through the green wall and test whether the shape is human or remembered. The enclosure does not announce itself; it appears only when resistance gives way, suggesting that even abandoned lines can hold the edge of a living world.

Some 80m to the E of a rath (GA108-051----). Known locally as 'Fairy Hill', this enclosure (18.7m E-W; 16.8m N-S), which is densely overgrown with trees and bramble, is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse.
