What is recorded here

Longford Castle stands in ruins within County Galway, its unclassified walls stripped of identity by time and distance. The stone skeleton hints at a forgotten residence, perhaps a defensive tower or a noble home abandoned before records arrived. Wind moves through the empty chambers now, carrying voices that never learned to name themselves.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
