Situated on a W-facing slope, partly on top of a rise of ground in gently undulating meadow. A large, slightly irregular enclosure outlined on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map (diam.c. 95m N-S and E-W). Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
