What is recorded here

In improved pasture, on a S-facing slope. A standing stone (TS062-154----) lies c. 30m to the NNE and an enclosure (TS062-155----) c. 70m to the N. On the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map this is depicted as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 33m) with a field boundary running E-W along the N edge. On the 1903-04 ed. the monument is not depicted but the curving kink in the field boundary denoting the bank in the N sector is evident. The ground is uneven in area of the monument, which is not visible at ground level. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
