In gently undulating pasture, 200m SE of the N21 road. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument identified as a possible enclosure from examination of 1:4000 OSi aerial photographs (OS2 No. 6641) where it is visible a circular feature or cropmark (Adare Bypass Constraint Study, Ref. 31/A/1, p. 41). Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as no surface remains visible. Monument is not visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
