Enclosure in Cloonameehan North

In level damp pasture with higher ground to N and S. An oval area (int. diam. 45m N-S; c. 30m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m), an intervening fosse (Wth 2.4m) and a counterscarp bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.45m) on the W and N arcs. The E and S arcs are truncated by a drain and trackway. The interior is level, bisected on the E-W axis by a drain and crossed by the remains of cultivation ridges.
