O’Kelly said that a field called Ráithín lia once held a little grey rath, and coins had risen from it like forgotten payment. I picture children running past that field while the coins waited beneath the grass, untouched and patient. The name still sounds small, but small places often keep the sharpest memory.

According to O'Kelly (1969, 52) in the townland of Castlemarket there is 'a rath in a field called the Ráithín lia, the little grey rath, where ancient silver coins were unearthed'.
