Enclosure in Lisbigney — Report the wrong picture

Marked on the 1908 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a subcircular enclosure (max. diam. c. 50m NE-SW) which has been quarried into at S. Remains of an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.5m, int. H c. 0.5m, ext. H c. 1.1m) survive from W-E. No other visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
