Enclosure in Cappagh (glanarought By.)

In rough pasture, on a SW-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. A circular area (diam. 11m) defined by a low, partly grass-covered, drystone wall (Wth c. 0.6m; H 0.6m) NW-SE and by a low bank (Wth c. 0.6m; H 0.1m) SE-NW. The SW portion of the interior is raised and the NE portion is cut into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. The entrance (Wth 0.8m) is at SE; the S side is defined by a slab. The interior is level. A relict field boundary (KE093-055002-) abuts the enclosure at NE. A hut site (KE093-055----) is c. 60m to the NW.
