Situated on a plateau between Bree Hill c. 1.1 km to the WSW, Carrig Hill c. 950m to the NNW and Ballybuckley hillfort (WX025-034----) c. 450m to the ENE. The cropmark of a circular area (diam. c. 40m) is visible on aerial photographs (MM (62) 15-19).
