In pasture, on a generally level area of a gentle N-facing slope. Sub-oval area (map dims. 15m NNE-SSW; 20m WNW-ESE) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 0.95m; Wth 6.5m); generally obscured by vegetation; bank possibly incorporated into field boundary at E. Remains of fosse (Wth 4.75m; D 0.5m) best preserved SW-SE. Entrance (Wth 2m) at NW, defined by large conglomerate stones. Access not gained into interior.
