On knoll overlooking sea. Indicated as circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on OS 6-inch map (1842). Arc of ruined stone wall to N joined to field boundary at E. Some stones (facing E) set on edge in interior may mark burials. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
