What is recorded here

On a gentle SW-facing slope just below the crest of a broad flat-topped hill, in tillage. The views are very good to extensive in all directions. Roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m NE-SW) identified on aerial photographs (ASIAP (111) 17-19, 22 July 2000; GB90.BM.25, 14 July 1990). A field boundary runs NE-SW across the monument, with the larger portion N of the field boundary. The field boundary curves (chord c.45m) where it intersects with the monument. An irregular enclosure (KK005-092----), also identified as a cropmark, is located immediately SE of this enclosure. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 30 April 2018
