What is recorded here
In low-lying, wet pasture, which is cut by land drains and watercourses and which is adjacent to W of a linear land drain running N-S. Within a large complex of ring-barrows, where ring-barrows (LI023-226007/008-) lie 30m to WNW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a large semicircular-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 15708: AP 4/3665). Monument is visible as a large, faint semicircular-shaped cropmark (diam. 50m) on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 25/03/2017.
