Enclosure in Ballynamona (abbey West Ed),crumlin was a 35-metre circular area on level ground in County Galway, marked on the 1932 map before reclamation destroyed most of it. A short arc of wall foundations still lies beneath the boundary wall, perhaps part of the original fabric. The enclosure may have marked a ceremonial boundary, a trading place or a lived-in centre, but farming erased the shape that gave it meaning.

On level ground. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1932) as a circular area (D c. 35m), overlain from SE through W to NW by the td. boundary. The monument is almost totally destroyed as a result of reclamation. However, a short arc of wall foundations underlying the td. boundary wall may be part of the original fabric.
