What is recorded here
In marshy pasture on top of a low ridge with views to S, truncated by a boreen to the N. Not depicted on the OS 6-inch maps. Clearly visible on OSi MapGenie orthophotography 2004-2006. A subcircular enclosure (max. ext. dims. c. 60m NW-SE; 53m SW-NE) comprising a scarped platform (diam. c. 35m) outside of which is a shallow fosse (D 0.1m; Wth 1.5m) visible as a bank of darker vegetation. A low rise along the E may be the remains of an internal earthen bank and traces of the bank are visible on the N side of the boreen. A recent field bank extends SW-NE across the S half. The interior is flat and no features are visible at ground level. A modern house (c. 2005) has been built over the W side.
