Situated on ground sloping gently to NE in gently undulating terrain. Depicted as a circular enclosure on both the 1st (1840-41) and 1904 ed. OS 6-inch maps. A slight curving rise which appears to be the remains of the E portion of the site is all that is visible at ground level. The field has been reclaimed.
