What is recorded here

On a gentle S-facing slope in gently undulating terrain, just below the crest of a hill, under tillage. A large, roughly circular enclosure was identified as a cropmark, with a smaller circular enclosure (TS077-117002-), partially encroaching on the W side of the larger enclosure. There is a small roughly circular possible cropmark (TS077-117003-) NE of the large enclosure. This may be an annexe or an earlier monument. All three cropmarks were identified from aerial photographs (ASIAP (28) 3-5,7,9, 3-8-96; (40) 23-25, 3-8-96). There is no visible trace of these monuments at ground level. This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
