Enclosure in Ballybegly Little — Report the wrong picture

Ballybegly Little holds a broken circular mark in excellent Donegal soil beside Lough Swilly, its southern edge erased while the remainder waits beneath living land. The enclosure may have marked a home, a boundary or a ceremony, yet human hands have already removed part of its answer. What remains is not a complete record but a visible interruption, inviting imagination to fill the loss without pretending the missing part is still known.

An aerial photograph (St. Joseph, AVR 57) indicates a subcircular cropmark here, the S side of which appears to have been totally destroyed. It is situated in excellent land close to the E shore of Lough Swilly. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
