What is recorded here

In grassland, on a SE-facing slope of rising ground in upland region with good views in all directions. Nearby mound possible (TS054-025----) 250m to the W. Land has been reclaimed and field boundaries have been removed. On the 1903 ed. OS 6-inch map land is shown as wet poorly drained marshy land in upland region. No visible surface remains, enclosure was probably levelled when field boundaries were removed and field reclaimed. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
