(v) Possible enclosure: An arc of walling, c. 1.7 to 2m wide, has been revealed here by turf-cutting, both ends disappearing into banks of uncut peat c. 1m deep. This wall may define the NW quadrant of a circular enclosure c. 10m in diameter. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 25. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 3 August 2013
